It’s August!

So it’s August and that means Blackberries are everywhere. This recipe was delivered to my inbox and I knew I had to try it. I pretty much stayed true to the original EXCEPT: I used fresh blackberries and added a pinch of black pepper for spice. Also, I made half the pies with a mixture of the berries and cream cheese as filling. Can you tell I don’t have much of a sweet tooth? Either way, they were delish.
